For the 2022 model year, Jeep introduced the return of an iconic nameplate from its past when it unveiled the brand-new Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Then the following year, Jeep added extended-length variants to the mix in the Wagoneer L and Grand Wagoneer L, each offering an extra foot of vehicle length for extra interior space. Just a few years later, back in November of 2023, we here at Glover Customs made a little history of our own, by being the first to lift a Grand Wagoneer L! While we can’t say with 100% certainty that it was the very first lifted Jeep Grand Wagoneer L in the world… we’re pretty darn sure, and now it’s available for sale!
We will go ahead and give you a rundown on the Jeep Grand Wagoneer L itself, but first we thought we’d dive straight into the custom build portion of this vehicle and highlight the various aftermarket parts that went into making it. The most important part of the custom build was the lift kit, which in this case includes a set of Revel Performance Lift Links to give it that extra ground clearance and to make room for the Vossen 24-inch wheels. Those massive wheels are wrapped in nearly 35” Nitto Recon Grappler tires to bring the whole package together.
This is just the bare minimum of what’s possible when making a custom build, as we’re sure you’re aware. While you probably won’t outfit a Grand Wagoneer L as extensively as a Wrangler or even a Gladiator, there are plenty of possibilities for you to consider, and it all starts with a lift kit and new wheels and tires.
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is a full-size luxury SUV packed full of absolutely incredible content and premium amenities. For example, it offers the class-exclusive available McIntosh Reference Entertainment System as well as available Amazon Fire TV Built-In, both of which enhance the 75 inches of available display space throughout the interior of the vehicle. But the Grand Wagoneer is premium at its core, thanks to its 3.0L Hurricane Twin-Turbo powertrain, which is capable of generating up to 510 horsepower alongside 500 pound-feet of torque, of accelerating from 0-60 miles per hour in 5.9 seconds, and of towing up to 9,800 pounds.
When it comes to cabin space, that’s where the major difference between the regular Grand Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer L come into play. The regular model offers 179 cubic feet of passenger volume as well as 27.4 cu. ft. of cargo space behind the third row, or a total of 94.2 cu. ft. of cargo space. Upgrade to the Grand Wagoneer L and those numbers increase. While passenger volume goes down a bit to 173 cu. ft., cargo capacity goes up to 44.2 and 112.9 cu. ft. respectively. That’s a pretty massive improvement!
We’ve only scratched the surface of what the 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer L have to offer, though. Check out the following list for a few more great features:
Even with this list, we’re still barely putting a dent into all of the incredible features and technologies found in the vehicle, which includes more than 140 features, both standard and available, dedicated solely to safety and security. If you’re interested in learning more about the Grand Wagoneer L or how you can customize it, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us right here at Glover Customs!
