Welcome to another entry into our Customization Showcase series! Today we’re looking at something really special, a 2024 RAM Indominus TRX Lunar Edition custom build made by the crew right here at Glover Customs. We’ve looked at some really cool custom builds in our previous showcases, but this one here includes the Indominus package that you’ve possibly heard of before, as we talked about it in our last showcase as well. Or maybe you read about it in the news, as we brought the very first Indominus to the SEMA show a few years ago. Let’s dive into this incredible monster to highlight everything we did to it as another way to show you what’s possible here at Glover Customs.
This truck was actually built for Jared Glover himself, as he’ll tell you in the video. It was his personal vehicle but he decided to sell it a few months ago to a very lucky buyer. Just as a quick refresher, the Indominus Package – which is something you can add to any RAM TRX here at Glover Customs these days – was named after the dinosaur from Jurassic World and originally built with Addictive Desert Designs as a partner. It includes all kinds of great updates and accessories, but let’s dive into exactly what kind of upgrades are found in this 2023 RAM Indominus TRX Lunar Edition.
Before we dive into everything that was added to this incredible pickup truck, let’s first take a closer look at the 2023 RAM TRX Lunar Edition to highlight what this truck was when it rolled off the factory line. It was available in the exclusive Ceramic Gray exterior color option, which makes this paint job extremely rare. On the inside, its interior was all black with surf blue accents in areas like the stitching and so on. Fortunately, the team was able to color match some of the exterior accents to the blue stitching, and for some of the bigger parts – such as the fenders, grille surround, bumpers and skid plate – we were able to paint-to-match the Ceramic Gray exterior.
To enhance the vibe of the truck even further, the blue was continued in the lighting. The Rigid Radiance lights that can be found all around the vehicle feature blue backlighting, while you can also find blue rock lights in the fender wells as well as blue underglow beneath the vehicle. Finally, Paragoptics was able to change all of the white ambient LED lighting throughout the interior to blue as well.
Some of the exterior improvements include a pair of bumpers from Addictive Desert Designs. Up front they equipped the RAM with the Stealth Fighter Front Bumper featuring an integrated winch plate, which is a first for the ADD team. In back the Bomber Rear Bumper brings things home and features powder-coated blue tow hooks. We also added Mopar power steps and replaced the wheels with a set of 20” Fuel wheels wrapped in 37” Nitto Recon Grapplers.
As for the lift kit, the designers decided to go with Eibach Pro Lift Springs, which is an actual spring replacement rather than being a spacer. To bring everything together, they powder-coated the springs blue. Another big upgrade came in the form of the MagnaFlow xMOD Series full exhaust system, which features a trio of separate mid-pipes including your standard muffler, an NDT delete and an xTreme delete straight pipe.
As for improvements under the hood, the crew added both an S&B cold air intake and a Ripatuned Incognito Lower Damper Sleeve Kit, which is supposed to add 75 horsepower to the truck’s already impressive 702 horsepower.
If you have any questions about this build or what might be possible on your own RAM 1500, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us right here at Glover Customs. We look forward to hearing from you!
